Bruce Berger

Before joining Atlantic Investment Management in 2005, extensive expertise in the financial services sector included the role of Chief Financial Officer with a $4 billion credit focused asset management firm, the Controller of a self clearing brokerage, asset management and structured products firm and as a Manager at Arthur Andersen. Extensive accomplishments in these various roles are the result of an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Financial/Operations management, legal and regulatory compliance, investor relations and business development and information technology.Successes in the area of risk management include an instrumental role in designing and implementing an IT infrastructure for risk reporting and control. Demonstrating organizational skills, industry expertise and being responsive to the needs of management, clients and regulators has been a priority, further contributing to his value as a financial leader.In addition to being Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA, Bruce has held other licenses including Series 7, 27 and 63. Continuing professional development includes meeting and working with other industry visionaries as a founding board member of the Hedge Fund CFO organization and the New York Hedge Fund networking group, demonstrating a desire to continually learn about innovations and advances in the field.

Cyrus Borzooyeh

Reservoir Capital Group


Cyrus Borzooyeh has been the Chief Financial Officer of Reservoir Capital Group since January 2010. From February to December 2009, Mr. Borzooyeh was a consultant to Reservoir focused on implementing certain technologies to create operational efficiencies. Prior to joining Reservoir, Mr. Borzooyeh was a Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Cyrus Capital Partners, L.P. from 2005 to 2009. Before joining Cyrus Capital, Mr. Borzooyeh was the Chief Financial Officer of King Street Capital Management, L.L.C from 2000 to 2005. Mr. Borzooyeh’s first private sector position was as a fund accountant at Tiger Management, L.L.C. from 1998 to 2000. Previous to that, Mr. Borzooyeh was at KPMG Peat Marwick LLP (now known as KPMG LLP) in their Financial Services line of business, where his experience included auditing mutual funds, common trust funds, and collective investment funds, as well as consulting financial services clients. Mr. Borzooyeh began his career at Goldstein Golub Kessler and Company, P.C. (now merged into McGladrey & Pullen LLP), a public accounting firm, where he spent approximately half of his time on hedge fund clients.

Mr. Borzooyeh graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Accounting from Binghamton University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Borzooyeh currently serves on the Binghamton University School of Management Dean’s Metro Advisory Board and on the New York hedge fund chapter of the Financial Executives Alliance’s advisory board (formerly known as the Hedge Fund CFO Association). He has been a member of both boards since 2008.

Jeffrey Bruce

Jeffrey Bruce is a Deputy Regional Managing Director at First Republic Bank, having joined the firm in October of 2004. Prior to joining First Republic, Jeff was a Managing Director and Department Manager at U.S. Trust, where he had worked in their Private Banking group for almost 12 years. Before his tenure at U.S. Trust, he worked for both the Chase Manhattan Bank and Chemical Bank in their Private Banking areas. Jeff graduated cum laude from Princeton University in 1988, received his MBA from Columbia in 2001, and is a NASD Registered Representative.

Mendy R. Haas

Third Point LLC

Mendy joined Third Point LLC in 2008. Mr. Haas was previously the Chief Financial Officer for DiMaio Ahmad Capital, an asset manager with more than $6 billion under management. Prior to that, Mr. Haas worked at Tiber Asset Management as a Vice President responsible for the firm’s financial and tax reporting. He started his tax and financial career at Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Haas is a graduate of Fordham University with a joint J.D./MBA as well as a B.S. in Accounting from Brooklyn College.

Cameron Hillyer

Cameron Hillyer serves as Saba’s Chief Operating Officer and is a Partner of the firm. Cameron brings over twenty years of experience as both an advisor to alternative investment platforms and as an executive managing the infrastructure and operations of a range of complex investment platforms. Cameron’s experience covers both hedge fund and private equity structures, with a particular emphasis in the credit space. During his career, Cameron has led large teams of people across firms with operations spanning Asia, Europe and the United States.

Prior to joining Saba in April 2016, Cameron was a Partner and Chief Financial Officer at MatlinPatterson, a private equity and credit hedge fund platform with over $8 billion in assets under management. Before joining MatlinPatterson, Cameron was the Chief Financial Officer at Clearwater Capital Partners, an Asian focused distressed debt and special situations firm. Cameron started his career at KPMG in Australia and subsequently managed major accounts within the firm’s New York private equity and hedge fund practice. Cameron Hillyer is a Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”) charter holder and a Chartered Accountant (Australia). Cameron holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Melbourne, Australia.

Dan Levinson

Daniel M. Levinson is a Partner, CFO & COO at Cat Rock Capital Management. Over the past 30 years, Mr. Levinson has held senior level finance and operations positions at various financial institutions, with extensive experience in accounting and portfolio management systems integration and implementation, regulatory procedures, tax planning, and operations management.

Before joining Cat Rock, Mr. Levinson was a Partner, CFO & COO at Atalaya Capital Management, having come aboard early in the firmʹs inception. Prior to that, Mr. Levinson was the COO at Oracle Investment Management, a $1 billion healthcare hedge fund and private equity firm, and a Managing Director and CFO at Morgens, Waterfall, Vintiadis & Co., a hedge fund and private equity manager specializing in leveraged loans, special situations and distressed debt. At Morgens Waterfall, he was also responsible for managing a number of turnaround situations in various industries. Mr. Levinson also served as a Vice President at Sentinel Real Estate (formerly Smith Barney real estate group). Mr. Levinson began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick as a Certified Public Accountant. Mr.Levinson holds a BS in Accounting from Lehigh University.

Edward Levy

Prior to joining Omega in 2006, Ed was the Chief Financial Officer at Seneca Capital, a New York based hedge fund from 2005 to February 2006. Prior to Seneca, Ed was the CFO at two Connecticut based hedge funds from 2002-2005. Prior to this, Ed was previously at Omega as Co-Controller and then as Co-CFO from 1993-2002. From 1988 to 1993, Ed was a supervisor at the public accounting firm of Goldstein Golub Kessler & Company, P.C. As a certified public accountant, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Ed, who received a BS in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany in 1988, resides in Mahopac, New York with his wife, Lisa, and their four children.

George Roeck

George Roeck is the CFO and COO of Harraden Circle Investments. Prior to this, he was COO & CFO of Charter Bridge Capital Management, LP, which manages a long/short equity hedge fund with a focus on consumer-related companies. George joined Charter Bridge from Agamas Capital Management, LP, a multi-strategy hedge fund manager, where he was a Managing Director, CFO and CCO.Prior to Agamas, he was a Vice President and Director of Administration and Tax Services with The Bank of New York, overseeing financial reporting, compliance and tax services for $250 billion in third-party assets. At BNY, he was also CFO of the $12 billion BNY Hamilton Fund complex and the Ivy Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund, a registered fund-of-funds. George has significant private investment fund experience, having served as CFO for Greenbridge Group, a M&A advisory boutique and a related venture capital fund as well as CFO of GSC Partners, a multi-billion dollar privateequityfirm, which specialized in leveraged buyouts, distressed investing, mezzanine investing and CDOs. George joined GSC after 11 years as a tax consultant at Arthur Andersen supporting financial services industry clients. He is a CPA and an Attorney.

Sandra Satz

Sandra Satz

Sandra Satz is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Column Park Asset Management, LP, a registered investment advisor focusing on investing in credit markets. Prior to that Sandra served the same roles at Eagle River Asset Management LLC, a registered investment advisor managing a credit and event fund. Over the past twenty-five years, she has gained extensive hands-on experience in accounting, operations, tax, and compliance as the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating and Chief Compliance Officer of various hedge funds. She has also held a Series 27 license as the Financial and Operations Principal of a registered broker-dealer. Sandra began her career at the public accounting firm of Spicer and Oppenheim. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Accounting from Brooklyn College and is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Jim Weiner

Jim Weiner is a Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Indus Capital Partners, LLC, a $6.2 billion equity long short manager, focusing on the Asia Pacific region. Jim oversees fund and corporate accounting, trade operations and tax, as well as supporting various strategic initiatives. Prior to joining Indus, Jim, a CPA, was a Vice President at BlackRock, Inc, a publicly-traded investment advisor, where he was responsible for their SEC reporting, accounting policy and support of M&A initiatives and new investment products. Jim began his career at Ernst & Young in its asset management practice focusing on publicly traded investment managers, private equity funds and hedge funds. Jim graduated magna cum laude from Binghamton University in 1997.
